Rope Flow
Rope Flow
“Rope flow” is a method of freestyle rope training that incorporates cardio, strength training, martial arts, and dance. Rolling the rope without jumping up and down, this practice involves moving the shoulders, legs and hands, promoting rhythm, timing, balance, core strength and coordination with the left and right sides of the brain.
Rope flow training engages many different muscle groups and is a good foundation for improving movement, joint health, mobility, balance and coordination. With practice it can also be a tool to release stress and anxiety. Neuro- muscular connections are also developed as the left and right sides of the brain are utilized in conjunction with rhythmic movement.
Rope flow can also blend into the rest of your workout routine. Some people use rope flow to de-stress after a long day of work, use it as a warm-up, or a cool down. Rope flow is an innovative form of exercise that can tackle many fitness problems at once.
