Project Iron is a 12-Week, detailed tracking, weight training program for youth ages 8-12 interested in improving their lifting techniques.
Participants will meet 3 times a week for 12 weeks.
Coaches include:

- Tuesday and Friday evenings from 6-7:15 pm
- Sunday mornings from 10:30-11:45 am
- Coach Randy
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday afternoons from 4-5:15 pm

The Alzheimer’s Association® provides care and support to those affected by Alzheimer’s and all other dementia through free, high-quality education programs sponsored by the YMCA of the Roses. These individual education sessions cover a variety of topics on Alzheimer and Dementia.
These 30 to 60 minute virtual & in-person classes are led by a certified YMCA facilitator. Each session includes Q&A opportunities for discussion and will provide participants with the most up to date information regarding each topic.

The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training course provides youth who want to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. The course helps participants develop leadership skills, build a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and guide children’s behavior. Participants also learn about basic child care and basic first aid. It helps youth develop leadership and business skills they can apply to many areas of their lives. All participants will also receive ARC certification in Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED.

Students will get a Babysitter’s Training Handbook, Emergency Reference Guide (provides step-by-step instructions to handle common emergencies such as bee stings and asthma attacks) and a CD-ROM with the tools needed to run their babysitting business including client organizer, printable activity booklet with games, crafts, songs and recipes, a resume template and interactive exercises to help reinforce skills and more.
The YMCA Weight Loss Program is designed to help people seeking a healthier weight by making small changes to daily behaviors and forming sustainable, healthy habits.

The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program (YDPP) is a lifestyle change program proven to reduce the number of cases of Type 2 Diabetes by 58% for adults, and by 71% for seniors.
Program Description:
- Evidence-based program
- CDC approved curriculum
- Small group supportive environment
- 25 FUN sessions delivered over ONE YEAR – 16 weekly, 3 every-other week, and 6 monthly sessions
- Facilitated by a certified lifestyle coach.
Goals:
- Lose 5 -7 percent of body weight
- Gradually increase physical activity 150 weekly minutes
- Healthy eating
- Portion control
Eligibility:
- 18 years of age or older
- Overweight with BMI of 25 or greater
- Diagnosed with prediabetes via one of the three blood test or previous diagnosis of gestational diabetes

Welcome to Parents Night Out! Once a month drop your kids with us where we swim every other month and have themed activities other months. These activities include crafting, games in the gym, and learning/discovery events all designed and customized to be engaging and entertaining for each age group. We typically have pizza, water and a snack for the kids during the event.
