Parent & Child Swim Lessons
The YMCA Parent & Child class introduces infants and toddlers (ages 6 months to 3 years) to the water alongside a parent or guardian. Through fun, engaging, and confidence-building activities, children develop comfort in the water while learning basic body positions, bubble blowing, and foundational water safety and swim-readiness skills. Parents and guardians also learn essential water safety and drowning prevention practices to help support their child’s success and safety in and around the water.
- Stage A – Water Discovery (Ages 6–18 months): Introduces babies to the pool environment, helps them enjoy the water, and teaches them to respond to simple verbal cues
- Stage B – Water Exploration (Ages 18 months–3 years): Encourages toddlers to explore body positions, blow bubbles, practice assisted front/back floating, and make fundamental safety movements
Refund Policy:
A full refund is available before the first class begins. A 75% refund is available after the first class. No refunds will be issued once the second class has started.
