The YMCA of the Roses has exciting volunteer opportunities at all of our York and Lancaster County locations.
It is only through the support of our volunteers and donors that we are able to give back to our communities. You can help at the Y in a variety of roles supporting youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility in out community. No matter how you devote your time, you will be working with other volunteers and Y professionals to make a difference in the lives of children, families, and adults.
Program Volunteers
Our volunteers nurture the potential of thousands of kids, teens, and adults year-round. They teach, mentor, guide, and support youth from their first few weeks of life through their first steps into adulthood. Volunteers assist with coaching youth sports, chronic disease classes, youth programming, and events.
Committee & Policy Volunteers
Our five branches located in York and Lancaster counties have dedicated groups of volunteers who serve on Branch Boards and committees. These volunteers review and advice staff on policies, monitor and evalutate the work of the YMCA, and provide feedback on how to continue to strengthen our community. You can contact the Executive Director at your preferred branch to learn more.
