Welcome to our JrNBA League! Our JrNBA basketball leagues provide the opportunity for friendly competition, while incorporating skill building and good sportsmanship. Each participant receives a reversible 76ers jersey. The season consists of 8-weeks with 1 practice during the weekdays and 1 game on Saturdays. The league will allow participants to develop their skills within a team setting while also providing a competitive aspect to the game. The league will run from December 9th thru February 22nd with each team having a weeknight practice and games on Saturday either at LS or City Branch.

We have partnered with the Jr NBA for youth basketball this year! Participants between the ages of 4 and 5 are invited to join! This is a 10 week program. The first 4 weeks will be skill work and learning the game of basketball. The remaining 6 weeks will consist of games. Each participant will receive an NBA team branded Jersey!

Jr. NBA Leagues encompass the core values of the game: teamwork, respect, determination, community, and most importantly, are designed for youth to have fun!!

Our basketball program is an official league of the Jr. NBA! All participants will receive a reversible 76ers jersey to wear on gamedays. We will also open our Jr. NBA store for participants and coaches to order their own Jr. NBA swag!

Our coaching positions are strictly volunteer based, but you could qualify for future basketball discounts if you coach the entirety of the season. All volunteers are required to complete our Volunteer Matters sign-up which will be located in the registration email once you are signed up. We will be designating practice times based on your availability and the availability of the gym. Please keep in mind that we are a multi-use facility, and we share the gym with group exercise classes and other members. We cannot guarantee your requested day/time, but we will do our best to accommodate coaches and their specific age-group.

Spring Basketball

In an instructional and recreational setting, youth will gain skill enhancement through practices and games

Some games played against teams from the other YMCA of the Roses Branches.

Ages 6-8 and 9-12 groups.

Dates:  Saturdays, March 15 – May 3, 2025

Times:  9:00 – 11:00 AM
